Our service for the preparation of your Will is smooth and quick, but without compromising on the clarity of thought and advice necessary to ensure your wishes are carried out. We offer a fixed fee for a single Will, and for joint Wills made on the same terms (‘mirror Wills’). We are happy to arrange to meet you at a venue convenient to you, if you are unable to use video conferencing technology and you are unable to attend the office for an appointment, however, travel charges may apply.

At Edmondson Hall we are pleased to be able to advise on the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney, including what they are, the advantages of making them, how to complete them and how to have them registered. We can also advise the persons appointed in the documents (‘Attorneys’), regarding their obligations in managing the property, finances and/or personal care of the person who made the documents (the ‘Donor’) after the documents have been registered.

We offer sympathetic advice following bereavement and we can assist you through the process of administering an estate and applying for a Grant of Representation, if required.  We are also often involved in the administration of an estate following the issuing of the Grant, which could include paying all debts, paying all gifts in the Will, finalising and paying all taxes and making final payment to the beneficiaries of the Will, free of any continuing estate obligations.

We do also offer services relating to Trusts, including the establishment and administration of Trusts arising from a Will and the preparation of the relevant establishment documents, with input from third parties, such as financial advisors and accountants, if necessary, to create and administer Trusts during a client’s lifetime.
