Karen joined Edmondson Hall in January 2022 to bring together the elements of HRM which had been shared across the Partners and the Partnership Director. In addition to establishing a more formal function of HR, Karen has also been tasked with looking after the Procurement for the business.
Beginning her career in HR over 20 years ago Karen has worked as a standalone HR practitioner before becoming a Consultant offering support to SME’s based in the Bury St Edmunds area. Prior to joining Edmondson Hall Karen worked with the prestigious Juddmonte Farms as their HR & Safety Manager. Karen has spent 10 years breeding thoroughbred race horses, her most notable breeding success was seen in MUTAMAKINA (GB) (RRP 111) sold to Al Shira’aa Farms as a yearling. MUTAMAKINA achieved considerable success in France and the USA, winning the EP Taylor Stakes Gr 1, along with a number of Gr 3 races.
